I was out in the field for work and my two other coworker wanted to stop in to eat here. I'd brought my lunch and was going to eat what I brought. I did decide to get a side of mac and cheese. First of all, I wasn't expecting such a big portion and it was only $2.50. When I get back to the office and sit down to eat the mac and cheese with my other food soon as i bite into to the mac and cheese I said, "YES GAWD! WHO MOMMA IS IN THAT KITCHEN!" THE FLAVA!! It's warm, cheesy, and moist goodness. I know there's cheddar but I don't know what else. After I gobbled the mac and cheese up I wish I had ordered something else. I can't wait to stop by and try there other foods cause if the mac and cheese is an indicator of how the other food will taste I'll be a new regular.

VERY GOOD!! It was exactly what i was craving
Great serving portions, went for lunch and couldn't finish it so i have another chance to enjoy it 1 more time. The service was excellent, very attentive and personable. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted and served in no time -

Stopped overnight in Petersburg Va.,had dinner at this Rinkeydink joint,called The Rinkeydink Cafe, the name fits,the owner who practically had dinner with us with the His-Tory of when,why and how he started this eclectic and unusually place.He was very insightful and entertaining, but as for the food,IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC,everything we had was well seasoned and Hot. No Exaggeration you don't need any type of seasoning,they had no collard green ,and the young man Shakur who seated us (who was actually leaving, saw us come in and wanted to seat us and gave us our setups and drink)suggested I try the string beans,great suggestion ,the string beans had a kick to them(a good kick). My wife's fish (whitings) 3 large pieces was hot and crispy,turkey wings fell off the bone and the gravy outstanding,wish I had a spoon to get all of it. Cornbread tasted like mama used to make. The prices are Very very reasonable,2 meals 2 bottles of iced teas =$24.00. If you are in Petersburg Va. stop in and meet the friendliest staff and here the owner's story and enjoy this great food.

Was very disappointed with the service and not impressed with the food. I made several visits and never experienced any improvement in the service or quality of the food. Seems to have a loyal following of regulars, but I never understood why.

Good Lawd! This little hole in the wall has the best soul food! My family of 7 stopped by for dinner, and my stomach was glad that we did. The only issue that I had was that we dined in and the dining area is small. It was a rainy night and as patrons kept coming in, we felt the cold draft as well. We all ordered something different so we could taste each other's meals. Everything was delicious! Absolutely delicious! The owner came out and spoke to us and that made our visit a little personal, so I enjoyed that. Our meals were served on take out platters. That was a plus and minus for me; although I wished we ate off of dishes. That would've given us a more restaurant feeling rather than a take out joint. Overall, I will definitely recommend and the next time I'm in Petersburg, I will definitely eat there again!
